Labor Day

Poppy helping Tooter get his fishing tackle ready for a fishing trip with Papaw and Mom. Tooter has enough tackle for three people. He loves to change baits....actually that is about all he loves to do when fishing. Papaw took some time to show him how to throw a fishing lure. And he found some time to float with Mom.

We had a large time at the cabin this Labor Day. Tooter being there automatically makes it a large time. He also got to play with his buddy Payden who lives next door and they had a big time swimming, fishing, roasting marshmallows and sliding down the hill behind the cabin.
The most fun Tooter had was when Papaw was teaching him how to strike matches and throw them on a pile of leaves to burn. I never knew that "match striking" was so important but to Tooter it was the greatest thing since toilet paper.
It was a cool weekend. The water was to cold for me and Dump and Flo to float. Needs to be hot water for us old girls. We did karaoke one night and that was very entertaining....some folks actually believe they can sing....funny. All in all it was a fun weekend.
